Athens Dent Repair Business Gets New Customers
EZ Dent Repair is an automotive dent repair business in Athens, GA.
They are my longest running client, and one that has gone through a ton of experiments, changes, and growth through the years.
EZ Dent’s success is not a case study on what I’ve been able to do as a marketer, but a case study on what can happen when the owner has –
- a truly incredible product
- the ability to deliver consistent customer support
- a marketing mindset focused on steady, incremental improvement
- a habit of gathering real feedback & reviews from customers
- an interest in learning & trying new things
- a willingness to actually do the work of local marketing (rather than outsourcing everything).
My relationship with EZ Dent started shortly after they launched their first website re-design. The site was fine, but under-optimized for organic & paid marketing.
Matt Moore, the owner, says the new changes paid for themselves in less than two days, with new customers calling everyday.
From there, the overarching strategy was to collect as many reviews and local citations as possible while spending advertising budget on direct response leads. The effort took years of deliberate, tedious, slow work. But eventually, EZ Dent established a solid standing in organic search results in addition to building out a solid Quality Score on Google Ads.
When EZ Dent started expanding their mobile footprint, we worked on reaching local communities with straightforward, yet effective local pages and focused service pages (like their Hail Damage & Repair page) Additionally, we re-built the website to meet new demands from an increasingly mobile audience.
In addition to “the basics” – EZ Dent has coordinated many experimental campaigns. When EZ Dent rolled out a radio campaign, we implemented vanity domain redirects to capture branded traffic and message matched branded ad campaigns.
What might look like an overnight success or an exercise in spending lots of money on a “multi-channel digital strategy” is really a local business with a great product working consistently over the years to build a brand that customers can find online.
Note from Nate – while I’m not able to take on new clients right now, I definitely encourage you to read my guide to local marketing. Check out EZ Dent and learn from different elements that they’ve implemented.
